TIP JAR SIGNS

These were created to give our tip jars at From the Earth Dispensary a little extra personality—and hopefully a few extra tips. I wanted the art to be funny, quirky, and impossible for customers to ignore. The goal was simple: make people smile, spark a little conversation, and maybe even inspire some “high”-spirited generosity. It’s part humor, part creativity, and all about making the checkout counter just a bit more fun.

This piece was created to promote our employee outing at Up-Down in Kansas City, MO—a local arcade bar full of retro games and good vibes. I wanted the design to capture that playful, nostalgic feel, making it just as exciting to look at as the event itself will be. Bright colors, arcade-inspired details, and a lighthearted tone help set the mood for a night of connection, fun, and team bonding outside of work.

This poster was designed to share our special holiday hours at From the Earth Dispensary while keeping the festive spirit of the 4th of July front and center. I wanted the design to feel celebratory and eye-catching, with bold, patriotic elements that instantly connect with the holiday. The goal was to keep it clear and informative while still bringing in that fun, summertime energy our customers expect on Independence Day.
